“I am extremely grateful to receive such a generous scholarship this school year! A majority of the scholarship money will be going towards textbooks for this and next semester, but I also plan on putting it towards smaller college fees that have accumulated over these past three years! Being able to take care of the stress that is purchasing textbooks can be a lot, especially since they come at a pricey cost. This is one of my reasons for applying for the Book Award every school year. The other reason being, is that the college will put some smaller but slightly hefty fees on me for tuition and any amount of money that I can put towards easing the amount of student loans I’ll be paying off in the future is something I will never turn down and I’m extremely grateful for this award. JCF and JCYF have been amazing support systems during my time as a college student and I’m glad to be a part of this community!
